I'm a Skype user enthusiast. I was influenced in a master's degree I've attended 2 years ago and have disseminate its use among a community of teachers I work with, as an alternative to the traditional phone calls, but often we use the chat function when some trouble occur with the bandwidth at schools.

The amazing offer of opensource and freeware is quite a miracle in recent years. There's a very nice site with a considerable amount of useful free software that I'm exploring which I would like to share - Cool Tools for Schools - http://cooltoolsforschools.wikispaces.com/
